We are pleased to offer a specialised lymphoedema rehabilitation program. Lymphoedema is the swelling of a limb due to a build up excess fluid in the tissues, and can be caused by problems with, or damage to, the lymphatic system. Untreated, this swelling may become difficult to control.
If you have lymphoedema we can help you. Some signs of lymphoedema are:
- An appearance of swelling in the limb
- A heavy, tight limb
- Pins and needles
- Numbness, temperature changes or aches
- Indentations in the skin from tight clothing and jewellery
For more information and to obtain a referral to the program, speak with your Doctor, Oncologist or Vascular Surgeon.

Using physical activity and appropriate exercise, interactive learning, as well as input from dietitians and social workers when required, we aim to assist patients to return to their normal daily activities and improve their quality of life. Our Cancer Rehab Flyer provides the full program details.
