Chief Executive Officer
Peter was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Maitland Private Hospital in October 2018, following 17 months as the Chief Executive Officer of Brunswick Private Hospital in Melbourne. He has been a member of the Healthe Care team for 9 years, commencing as a Physiotherapist at Toronto Private Hospital, NSW, in 2010. Peter brings a wealth experience to Maitland Private, in both clinical and managerial areas, and has a strong commitment to quality patient experience and outcomes.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Newcastle University, and a Masters of Health Industry Management from Curtin University.
Director of Clinical Services
With a clinical background as a Nurse Unit Manager for 15 years Rose leverages her comprehensive clinical background including roles as CNS (acute care), clinical and academic Nurse Educator (undergraduate and postgraduate curriculums). Completing her PhD Thesis in 2017 following on from GradDip Health Service Management and GradCert Critical Care (ICU/CCU/ED), Rose continues to participate in Nursing and clinical practice research focussed on improving clinical outcomes, with published work in the British Bone and Joint Surgery and the Journal of Clinical Nursing. Rose’s ongoing focus is on demonstrating the importance of clinical leadership, embedding evidence based practice into patient care, with nurse led interventions.
Daniel joined Maitland Private Hospital as the Finance Manager in September 2018. He has years of experiences as a Finance Manager in not-for-profit sector and hospitality industry. He is also a member of Chartered Accountants ANZ and an accredited holder of Master’s Degrees in Professional Accounting, Applied Finance and Business Administration.
Cassie joined the Maitland Private Executive Team in October 2019, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience from the public health sector. Cassie has worked in the health industry for over 20 years, starting her career in diagnostic imaging and more recently providing executive support to cancer services across Hunter New England. As part of her ongoing professional development, Cassie formed an interest in project management and has steered a number of patient experience themed projects. Cassie has strong interpersonal and organisational skills, and provides invaluable support to the hospital's staff and management team.
Business Development Manager
Carl has extensive experience in the perioperative space in particular, having been a territory
manager in Trauma/Orthopaedics for Medartis and Stryker for the past 3 years.
Prior to this, Carl ran his own private Exercise Physiology practice for nearly 15 years on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, providing
EP and Physiotherapy services focused on complex metabolic and musculoskeletal dysfunction.
Carl also has extensive experience delivering corporate health solutions.
