Dr Sarah Zardawi is a Medical Oncologist and Palliative Care Physician. Working predominantly in Medical Oncology, she is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care for patients and their families at all stages of their cancer treatment. This includes excellent supportive management and a focus on symptom control.

Sarah undertook her medical training in Sydney before completing her specialty training in Newcastle, obtaining Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (Medical Oncology) in 2020 and becoming a Fellow of the Australian Chapter of Palliative Medicine in 2021.

Sarah has completed a clinical trials fellowship at Calvary Mater Newcastle, working particularly with patients with Genitourinary Cancers and Melanoma. She is currently undertaking a further fellowship with Breast Cancer Trials in addition to establishing her general private practice.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys playing netball and gardening.
