Dr Faisal Hayat is a Medical Oncologist consulting from Maitland Private Hospital. Dr Hayat graduated in Pakistan before moving to Australia in 2013.

Dr Hayat undertook basic Physician training in Queensland and then completed the Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) working at Mid North Coast Cancer Institute, Coffs Harbour and Calvary Mater Newcastle.

Currently Dr Hayat holds a Research Fellow position at Calvary Mater Newcastle.

Dr Hayat is passionate about patient focused care, clinical research and precision oncology. He is a strong advocate for equitable access to clinical trials for regional, first nations and multicultural patients.

Dr Hayat is fluent in English, Urdu and Punjabi.
