Maitland Private Hospital Outpatient Psychology Clinic
In support of our local GPs and the mental health needs of their patients, Maitland Private Hospital is happy to announce the opening of our Outpatient Psychology Clinic.
We have a number of Psychologists available for 50 minute psychology consultations.

Cost
$180 for a 50 minute appointment session ($150 pension card/ concession) $120 for a 30 minute appointment session
A rebate from Medicare of $128.40 for a Clinical Psychologist or $87.45 for a Registered Psychologist (for a 50 minute session) is available if you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP or Psychiatrist. A maximum of ten sessions are available each calendar year that attract the Medicare rebate. Your initial health care plan is usually for six sessions.
If you have private health insurance please check with your private health insurer to ascertain your private health insurance rebate.
We have a HICAPS machine on-site and can process your payment via EFTPOS or cash and can also process your rebate on the spot.
Referrals
Patients wishing to access our Outpatient Psychology Clinic, must be referred by their GP under their mental health care plan. GP referrals can be sent to our team using the details below.
